In order to ensure proper timing of activities, an efficient workflow and a well-balanced interaction between the partners a consistent management structure have been established.
The following diagram illustrates the overall project management structures.
The work package leaders manage the work which shall be done in the specific work packages. They are responsible for monitoring progress in the work package, and coordinating the different project participants involved in their own work package. They have to ensure that the work package activities are completed to the agreed time schedule.
They will get the information about the progress of the tasks which are included in the work packages from the task leaders. The specific tasks of the work package leaders are:
- checking of technical and financial progress;
- checking of time schedule;
- reporting to project partners and project coordinator;
- coordination and communication between all participants in a work package.
